Viventis Search Asia is looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team as a Cloud-Based Data Solutions Engineer. The successful candidate will design and implement large-scale data systems using Azure services, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and reliability.

This role involves developing broad understanding of the data lake architecture, including the impact of changes on the whole system, client onboarding, and security implications. Key responsibilities include designing new or improving existing architecture for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and consumption layers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems using Azure services. They will also be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet business requirements.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Developing data models, schemas, and database structures optimized for H&B use cases.
  • Implementing data governance and security best practices in compliance with industry standards and regulations using Microsoft Purview.
  • Evaluating data lake architecture to understand how technical decisions may impact business outcomes.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in IT or related field.
  • Strong experience in databases, tools, and methodologies.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and other Azure Services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is preferred.
