Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Health Specialist to join our HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health and wellness programs that promote employee well-being, as well as providing medical support and administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Medical Support: Provide immediate medical attention to employees in need, including first aid and initial assessments, and coordinate transfers to medical facilities when necessary.
  2. Program Development: Develop and implement health and wellness programs, including annual health exams, flu vaccinations, health care orientations, and other health-related activities.
  3. Health Care Administration: Assist in the renewal of our firm's health care coverage, prepare lists and reports, and coordinate with brokers to ensure seamless administration.
  4. Benefits Administration: Handle the enrollment and de-enrollment of employees with health service providers, including the release and surrender of health cards.
  5. Claims Processing: Coordinate outpatient claims, confinements, executive check-ups, and reimbursements with brokers and service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain employees' health records in strict confidentiality, adhering to data protection protocols.
  7. Communication: Communicate health information to employees, ensuring they are informed about their benefits and responsibilities.
  8. Reporting: Conduct studies and prepare reports on employee health and safety, sick leave availments, and other related matters to inform business decisions.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 50 hours of basic training in occupational nursing are required. Experience in a similar role or a passion for healthcare will be an added advantage.
