Key Responsibilities

\

As a Senior Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:

\
  • \
  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting processes\
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports\
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and general ledger\
  • Coordinating the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making\
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations\
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and accounting policies\
  • Managing month-end and year-end close processes\
  • Assisting with tax planning and compliance, including tax return preparation\
  • Leading and mentoring the financial accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment\

What We're Looking For

We seek a seasoned financial professional with:

\
  • \
  • More than 25 years of working experience from a real estate development company, at least 10 years at the same level capacity\
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial accounting or controller role, preferably within the Accounting industry and the Financial Accounting & Reporting sub-industry\
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) preferred\
  • Proven track record of successfully managing financial accounting and reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights\
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team\
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and Excel, with the ability to create and analyze complex financial models\
  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams\
  • Experience in crafting financial strategies and models\
  • Experience in Business Systems and Intelligence\
  • Experience in ERP sourcing and implementation\
  • Experience in Joint Venture and business startup\
  • Experience in regulatory audits i.e. BIR, SEC, LGU\
  • Proven track record of successful entrepreneurial leading\
  • With work experience from RE industry specializing housing projects\
  • With strong leadership skills (will lead Millennials and Gen Z)\
  • Can train, mentor and supervise millennials and Gen Z managers\
  • Excellent Presentation Skills\
