Cloud Application Development Expert

As a senior cloud application development expert, your primary responsibility will be to ensure client success with Azure. You will analyze, design, and plan application architecture in Azure and other related technologies.

This technical client-facing role requires accountability for the end-to-end client cloud application development. The ideal candidate has experience in client-facing roles and can lead technical discussions with senior executives to drive key decisions and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement solutions that meet client needs and values using Azure-based technologies.
  • Translate requirements into technical designs using existing tools, services, and frameworks.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Power Apps.
  • Understanding of Power Platform licensing and capacity assignment/consumption.
  • Knowledge of Standard vs Premium connectors.
  • Office 365 security and Power Apps user security.
  • Determination of Model driven vs. canvas apps based on business requirements.
  • Dynamics 365 experience and its relationship to Power platform.
  • Data modeling within Dataverse.
  • Understanding of transactional and reporting data repositories.
  • Ability to provide guidance and recommendations on reporting best practices.
  • Understanding of performance optimization with on-premises data vs Dataverse.
  • Ability to design intuitive user interfaces.
  • Development of Power Automate workflows for backend processing.
  • Some experience/exposure to Power BI reporting.
  • Creation of power platform custom connectors.
  • Software development expertise outside of the Power Platform.
  • Web/client-side library development.
