Job Title: Financial Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, analyzing data trends, and preparing reports. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting files and records.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop spreadsheet reports to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare transaction journals, cash disbursements, and cash receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify financial data for accuracy before processing in Deltek Vision.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining accounting procedures, recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts.
  • Meet deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual process and reporting requirements.
  • Provide support with budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-5 years of experience in related field.
  • Industry experience preferred (Engineering/Architecture).
  • Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations.
  • Deltek Vision systems experience preferred.
