Job Title: Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

This role involves performing various accounting-related tasks for clients, including processing tax returns, coordinating document collection, bookkeeping, research, reconciliation, and budgeting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, proficiency in tax and accounting software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare personal and business tax returns
  • Review client books and make adjustments for year-end
  • Recognize and make journal entries for M-1 Adjustments
  • Conduct independent research of all necessary laws prior to submitting a return to the reviewer
  • Prepare tax projections and planning tasks for clients
  • Handle correspondences with IRS and state agencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related field
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software/tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation
