Master Fabricator

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Fabricator - Steelworks Specialist to join our team at Redspeed Motoworkz OPC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in steel fabrication and welding.

• Fabricate and assemble steel components using various techniques (SMAW, GMAW, MIG, TIG, stick welding)
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to industry safety standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and deadlines
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all fabricated components meet specifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A vocational training or certificate in welding
• Proficiency in various welding techniques
• Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Precision and attention to detail
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
