Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data layer to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain data models, explores, and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  • Optimize Code: Optimize code to ensure performance, scalability, and efficient data processing.
  • Data Transformations: Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML.

  • Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • Custom Visualizations: Create custom visualizations and effectively utilize visualization tools.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to design intuitive interfaces that facilitate data exploration and analysis.

Hiring Criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in LookML, strong understanding of data visualization principles, familiarity with relational databases, and solid understanding of BI data architecture.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
