Job Description
">We are seeking an experienced Medical Scheduler Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance coverage, and maintaining accurate patient records within our electronic health record system.

- Schedule primary care appointments, including annual exams, chronic care follow-ups, acute visits, and preventive screenings.">
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and network status.">
- Maintain and update patient records accurately in our electronic health record system.">
- Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting.">
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery.">
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding test results, referrals, and follow-up instructions, aligning with practice policies.">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you should have 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine, proficiency in our electronic health record system, strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and expertise in family medicine/internal medicine scheduling protocol.
">Work Environment
">This is a Monday to Friday position, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.
