Main Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive fixed asset reports to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  2. Depreciation Calculations: Administer timely and accurate depreciation calculations, leveraging industry-standard practices and methodologies.
  3. Reconciliation: Schedule and execute regular account reconciliations to safeguard financial integrity and prevent errors.
  4. Policy Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit recommendations.
  5. Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to facilitate the exchange of information and foster a culture of cooperation.
  6. Project Support: Support capital project accounting by providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  7. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management activities, ensuring that records are up-to-date and reflective of actual asset conditions.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting or general accounting roles.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of fixed asset management systems is a plus.
  4. Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  6. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively.
