The role of WordPress Developer entails several key responsibilities:

  1. Creating responsive, user-friendly websites using WordPress.
  2. Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  3. Managing front-end and back-end website development.
  4. Ensuring high performance and availability, as well as managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  5. Collaborating with design and content teams to bring website concepts to life.
  6. Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting content issues.
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and WordPress.
  8. Implementing SEO best practices for site optimization.
  9. Maintaining and updating websites as needed.
  10. Providing technical support and training to clients and staff.

Key qualifications include:

  1. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  2. Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  3. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  4. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  5. Familiarity with website architecture and navigation features.
  6. Knowledge of MySQL database management.
  7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  8. Strong understanding of website performance, security, and optimization techniques.
  9. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
  10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  11. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
