Key Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform.
  • They will also automate tests to ensure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met, while ensuring high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Additionally, the candidate will provide technical and group leadership to fellow team members.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • 8+ years of experience with UI Automation tools like Selenium, and API automation works, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge and experience with ROBOT automation framework using Python is essential.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python and/or J2EE technology or equivalent object-oriented paradigm.
  • Experience with automating test validation either via API or through database using Snowflake, HIVE or AWS Athena is highly desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in Git workflows like branching, merging and conflict resolution.
  • Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required.
  • Web application testing experience required both in frontend and backend validations.
  • Technically well-versed in developing comprehensive test plans covering business use cases and test cases.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and SQL, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with container-based solutions is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
