About the Role

We are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong background in accounting and tax compliance. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents to review stage with minimal review points.

You will be working across a diverse client base, including individuals, companies, trusts, and family groups, and will gain exposure to complex areas of taxation.

  • Prepare and complete Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, and IAS to review stage with high accuracy.
  • Work across different entity types including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Apply knowledge of Div7A, FBT, and CGT in preparing accurate tax outcomes for clients.
  • Liaise with managers and clients where required, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to minimize review points.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and complete Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, and IAS to review stage with high accuracy.
  2. Entity Management: Work across different entity types including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  4. Tax Knowledge Application: Apply knowledge of Div7A, FBT, and CGT in preparing accurate tax outcomes for clients.
  5. Client Liaison: Liaise with managers and clients where required, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  6. Attention to Detail: Maintain strong attention to detail to minimize review points.
