Job Overview

The organization is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review invoices for various legal entities, ensuring all invoices have the necessary documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Accurately input tax/VAT rates into Oracle.
  • Prepare and send electronic and manual check payments.
  • Research and resolve any outstanding vendor balances on accounts, including communication with vendors via phone, mail, or email.
  • Manage accounts payable as part of the month-end closing process.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to the supplier ledger balances.
  • Complete reconciliations and account analysis on an ongoing basis.
  • Address invoice and supplier-related queries.
  • Optimize cash flow by managing supplier credit terms while ensuring timely payments of invoices.
  • Assist with variance analysis between budget and actual.
  • Maintain accurate vendor details, including payment information.
  • Develop and ensure procedures are being adhered to and kept up-to-date.
  • Identify and execute process improvement strategies.
  • Review and audit employee expense reports.
  • Manage employee corporate credit card balances and related expenses.
  • Organize financial information, files, and records (e.g. invoices, payments, receipts) in a systematic manner on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with internal offices and employees.
  • Support annual external and internal audits.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and requests as needed.
