Actuarial Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of actuarial principles and experience in developing, validating, and implementing model changes into production models. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information, results, and recommendations to various levels across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement model enhancements, ensuring compliance with accepted modeling principles.
  • Monitor and manage quarterly controls, including reserve movement analysis, audit logs, inclusion controls, and upstream report validation.
  • Support business units with annual and ad-hoc projects, such as basis changes and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively communicate change status and results to country lead and local business units.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve tools, processes, and framework.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP), with meaningful progress towards Fellowship.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python, or similar programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying actuarial concepts to independently model and analyze actuarial financial metrics.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
