Job Overview:

The Procurement Manager is a key role within the Jollibee Group, responsible for the full management of assigned categories. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve strategic sourcing goals, developing suppliers, item standardization, cost and supply risk management, and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather historical and forecasted requirements, analyze supply performance based on PESTE, and identify potential risks to agree on solutions with stakeholders.
  • Analyze capacity levels of MBIC suppliers against rolling 12 months demand forecasts, manage sole-sourced items without BCP, and address out-of-stock issues.
  • Recommend optimal supplier mixes based on SCP analysis to meet current and future company needs.
  • Evaluate supplier capacity, capabilities, and processes through plant visits and develop strategies for long-term expansions.
  • Proactively identify and manage internal and external risks, assessing implications affecting assigned categories or requirements.
Supplier Management:
  • Design effective supplier lifecycle management, validate recommendations based on Purchasing Value Matrix analysis, and devise contingency plans to improve performance.
  • Analyze overall supplier performance, identify gaps, and collaborate with suppliers to meet objectives on complex transactions.
Cost Management:
  • Conduct comparative pricing vs. competition, perform cost breakdown analysis, and make recommendations to drive down costs based on findings.
  • Use commodity trends, supply/demand analysis, product seasonality, and government regulations to position JFC purchases for a category.
  • Implement spend reduction strategies, balance overall spend of a particular category, and use advanced negotiation techniques for moderately complex transactions.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Process orders for complex transactions, respond to routine customer inquiries, and provide valuable information to enhance customer serving time and provision of best value options.
  • Provide advanced support through strategic endorsement and management of accredited suppliers.
