The role of a Global Business Solutions Architect involves partnering closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and client-aligned solutions.

This position plays a key role in shaping the approach to solution design across regions, helping clients unlock the full potential of Degreed's platform through thoughtful architecture and consultative guidance.

This is a remote-first role based in APJ, with potential for limited international travel for company-wide events and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud platforms, as well as strong storytelling and solution-selling abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consult with clients to provide strategic business and technical guidance on implementing solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrations, configurations, and product capabilities.
  • Support Sales by answering technical questions and handling solution presentations.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions showcasing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify and qualify new business opportunities, offering technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.

The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and have experience in technical documentation and solution design. They will also possess a team-oriented mindset with experience working across functions.

Experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or SaaS architecture is required, as well as solid experience with cloud computing, integration technologies, and security protocols. Prior experience in HCM or L&D solutions is a plus.
