About the Role:

You will conduct thorough inspections and catalog utility assets accurately.

You will identify electrical equipment issues and potential hazards, providing real-time data to utilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient computer skills and good written/oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and catalog utility assets accurately.
  • Identify electrical equipment issues and potential hazards, providing real-time data to utilities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets for operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and industry standards.
  • Support safe and efficient project execution with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills and good written/oral communication abilities necessary.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code and national engineering standards desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Remote work environment and coordination with a distributed workforce.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies within the utility sector.
