We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to serve as the right-hand to the Controller, playing a critical role within a high-performing accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end closing duties, including leading the close process and analyzing general ledger accounts for significant variance.
  • Prepare internal financial reports and support management with variance analysis and commentary on financial trends and results.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and ensure resolution of discrepancies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax forms, including sales and use tax, business licenses, and annual reports.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and ensure compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes, collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows and reporting capabilities, and assist with ERP system optimization and accounting procedures documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments is preferred but not required.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
  • Experience in a multi-client environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
