Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Web Applications Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our applications using WordPress. This includes building custom templates, plugins, and ensuring the overall architecture of the applications meets the stakeholders' requirements.

About the Role

  • Design and develop high-quality WordPress templates following stakeholders' specifications and graphics.
  • Develop reusable WordPress plugins and improve existing ones in line with stakeholders' requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team on architectural designs and technical solutions.
  • Maintain and update websites, providing support to ensure uptime.
  • Deploy new websites in approved hosting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design high-quality WordPress templates that meet stakeholders' specifications.
  2. Develop and improve WordPress plugins as required.
  3. Contribute to architectural designs and technical solutions with the development team.
  4. Ensure website uptime by performing regular maintenance and updates.
  5. Deploy new websites into production environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Web Applications Developer is required.
  • Proficiency in GIT is essential.
  • Experience working with PHP and WordPress is necessary.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and basic understanding of Core Web Vitals are required.
