Delivering Excellence in Jewelry Production Management

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of jewelry production, ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining the highest standards of quality control.

This is a dynamic leadership position that requires strong management skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Manage daily production operations, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and manage relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors (casting, polishing, plating, etc.).
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines. Ensure compliance with ethical and sustainability standards in materials and labor, where applicable.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Troubleshoot production issues, minimize delays, and optimize efficiency and cost. Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align production with customer demand and seasonal launches.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in jewelry production or manufacturing management.
  • Jewelry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes (casting, stone setting, polishing), and supply chain.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software.
  • Vendor Management: Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
  • Communication: Experience communicating with the factory and ability to read a CAD.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of diamonds and the jewelry industry.
