As a Full Stack engineer, you'll join one of our product squads to build our modern messaging platform. You'll work closely with product teams, have high autonomy, and own delivering high-quality solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop secure, reliable, well-tested, and maintainable code prioritizing customer interests.
  2. Be proactive in improving technical approaches, programming, and working methods.
  3. Learn quickly and implement solutions as Proof of Concept or actual implementation.
  4. Adapt to customer usage patterns and resolve production issues promptly.
  5. Collaborate with team members for code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes focusing on security, performance, and reliability.
  6. Participate in end-to-end delivery from design and architecture to production deployment and support.
  7. Utilize t-shaped cross-functional skills to collaborate and effectively solve problems within your agile team.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality software to customers.
  • Commercial experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming.
  • Experience across the tech stack including software architecture, frontend development, backend development, database systems, and test automation.
  • Hands-on commercial experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS Serverless, REST APIs, Docker.
  • Passion for clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Serverless Framework experience.
  • AWS serverless cloud computing technology experience.
  • Experience in software design and architecture in scalable microservices.
  • Experience working with NodeJS frameworks like Express, Fastify, Nest, Sails, Meteor, LoopBack, or Hapi.js.
  • NoSQL experience particularly DynamoDB.
  • Experience with messaging platform services particularly AWS SQS and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito User Pool, SNS, Kinesis, ElastiCache, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines particularly CircleCI.
  • Devops experience including infrastructure as code (IaC) particularly AWS CloudFormation and deployment tools like Terraform, Anisble, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring particularly Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
