PROPERTY ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

BH Properties is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage all aspects of property accounting, including commercial billing, tenant statements, and lease-related tasks. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare and send commercial billing, tenant statements, and lease-related documents.
  2. Post leases, receipts, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Follow up with asset and property managers to collect delinquent accounts.
  4. Prepare sales tax forms and submit payment for processing.
  5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, property management companies, and other stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license required.
  • 2-4 years of full-time accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
