Business Automation Specialist

The role of the Key Business Integration Specialist is to assist clients in adopting a business automation platform for integration and automation from both business and technical perspectives. The successful candidate will define and drive best practices, working closely with client business and technical stakeholders. This individual will help extend the functionality of the platform and continuously improve engagement best practices.

This position involves engaging with clients by providing technical consulting, guidance, and enablement to clients to achieve value quickly. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions and implementation consulting, knowledge and understanding of integrations and system design principles, and good understanding of technology and industry trends, especially in the app integration space.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients by providing technical consulting, guidance, and enablement to clients to achieve value quickly.
• Engage with clients to gather integration and automation requirements and lead the solution design process jointly with clients.
• Share best practices from a business and technical perspective, related to deployment models, governance structures, integration design and build.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to review client requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for platform enhancements, while managing client expectations.
• Become a platform evangelist with the ability to discover and demonstrate how the platform can effectively help companies with their business automation needs across a broad set of industries.
• Become a trusted customer advisor and a customer advocate within the company.
• Participate in and conduct post-onboarding deployment health checks and guidance on integration and process optimizations.
• Contribute to the growth of the team by creating or enhancing content such as presentations, demos, best practices, architecture patterns, and online courses for use by both clients and enabling the extended team.
• Prioritize and deliver an outstanding customer service experience to clients.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, as well as any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions and implementation consulting.
• Knowledge and understanding of integrations and system design principles.
• Good understanding of technology and industry trends, especially in the app integration space.
• Good understanding of database technologies, such as SQL and Postgres.
• Demonstrated good understanding of on-premise infrastructure & cloud-based deployments, configurations, along with monitoring & management.
• Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC & end-to-end experience in developing, supporting & troubleshooting integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to create quality technical documentation.
• Experience working with at least one (1) Integration Platform, such as Workato, Tray, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods, Oracle Integration Suite.
• Experience working with cloud business apps like Workday / NetSuite / Salesforce / ServiceNow / SAP is a plus.
• Experience with web development frameworks and knowledge of JS frontend and backend is a plus.
