Job Title:

Security Risk Management Specialist

We are looking for an expert to define and implement security risk management standards and playbooks, analyze and improve our practices, evaluate and select new security requirements, tools and practices. The ideal candidate will have exceptional academic credentials, a drive to exceed expectations, leadership and management abilities, excellent English writing and presentation skills, and experience in threat modelling and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Security Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive security standards and playbooks to ensure the organization's assets are protected.
  • Improve Security Practices: Analyze and enhance our current security practices to minimize risks and optimize security posture.
  • Select New Security Tools: Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Grow Thought Leadership: Establish and maintain thought leadership in security risk management, sharing knowledge and best practices within the industry.
  • Develop Learning Materials: Create educational materials and resources to enhance the organization's security risk awareness and capabilities.
  • Present Information: Collaborate with security leadership to present information and influence strategic decisions regarding security risk management.
  • Participate in Discussions: Engage in risk management, decision-making, and collaborative discussions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Academic Excellence: Exceptional academic track record, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of driving results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of threat modelling, risk management frameworks, and security assessments.
  • Business Acumen: Familiarity with business operations and ability to balance security needs with business objectives.
