Product Development Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Lead to drive the success of our enterprise software products. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from planning and development to launch and maintenance.

Your primary objective will be to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to address customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing input on product roadmaps and ensuring alignment with overall strategy.

You will also be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, managing projects end-to-end, and ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget using Agile or Scrum methodologies.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders, including customers, team members, and executives. You must have excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, project management, or related field
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
