Financial Planning Support Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to provide comprehensive support to our financial planning team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with relevant guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning or related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements and Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement. Successful candidates will be expected to be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours and disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
