Job Title: Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced test engineer to join our team.

This role plays a crucial part in planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases. Key responsibilities include creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing, developing scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks, contributing to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, business analysts, and engineers to ensure that any assigned defects are resolved, maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing, and contribute to the improvement of processes and assets. Additionally, they will promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices, coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing, and adapt new ways of working, finding ways to continually improve and actively participating in squad events.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with automated testing tool Playwright, experience in both manual and automated testing including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage, and demonstrated skills with REST and SOAP webservices, API testing, and familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution.

In addition, we require a degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience, 2+ years of software testing experience (Manual and Automation), and ability to work across multiple products / platforms / squads, regular use of a defect and test management system such as JIRA, Confluence & SharePoint.
