As a skilled Crypto Investment Analyst, you will maximize returns for clients by identifying and evaluating emerging cryptocurrencies and Web3 projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Early-Stage Project Sourcing: Discover early-stage crypto and Web3 projects with high growth potential.
  • In-depth Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses to form non-consensus hypotheses about project potential.
  • Investment Memo Preparation: Develop detailed memos articulating hypothesis, supporting analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessment strategies.
  • Pitch Presentation: Craft persuasive pitches to the investment committee, highlighting unique insights and defending investment thesis.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the crypto landscape.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the investment team to refine strategies and contribute to overall portfolio performance.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within crypto, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
  2. Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to conduct market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation.
  3. Knowledge of Crypto and Blockchain: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and emerging Web3 innovations.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex investment theses clearly.
  5. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with knack for developing contrarian viewpoints.
  6. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field, with advanced degrees or certifications a plus.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, passionate about the crypto-asset industry, and a strong communicator with excellent written and oral English skills. In addition, they must be well-organized in a remote work environment and willing to specialize in the Web3 vertical.
