This will involve working closely with strategic procurement colleagues to develop new supply sources to support existing and new product requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, a passion for getting things done, and a keen attention to detail. You will be proactive, efficient, and able to work effectively with people at any level in a team environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Develop and implement spend management strategies, including supplier assessments, rationalization, and negotiation for the best total cost of ownership.
  • Prepare, co-develop, and review the reverse auction process with Commodity Managers, including detailed bid information, analysis of detailed results, negotiation, and execution of contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external legal counsel.
  • Ensure up-to-date and manage changes in the procurement database.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or other Engineering/Management-related courses. At least 3.5 years of relevant work experience in Procurement function in the manufacturing industry or supply chain role in the shared services industry is required.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities, as well as environmental legislations such as ROHS and REACH. A fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain and knowledge of Project Management is also necessary.
