Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to undertake various accounting tasks. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and income tax returns.

  • Extract reports and data from client accounting programs such as XERO, MYOB, and Reckon.
  • Provide training to clients in the use of these programs and assist with their queries.
  • Remain current with tax law changes and interpret and understand tax law and explain the implications to clients.
  • Maintain and complete client history and trust details.

This is a full-time position that requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. If you have a passion for accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or a similar relevant qualification.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software.
