Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions to safeguard enterprise systems.
  • Configure and manage cloud security services, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and cloud penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud traffic to detect and mitigate security threats in real-time.
  • Implement security policies and best practices for cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into cloud operations and ensure seamless communication.
  • Investigate and respond to cloud security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, FTP).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud firewalls (AWS WAF, Azure Firewall), IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools for log analysis and threat detection.
  • Knowledge of cloud security architecture, including IAM, storage, and compute services.
  • Experience with DevOps tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  • Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for cloud security automation.
