Optimizing Production Systems

Job Overview:

The Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development of our factories, striving for excellence in efficiency, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This involves applying comprehensive improvement methods and tools to identify areas of inefficiency and implement corrective measures.

Working closely with line crews, the Process Engineer serves as a technical trainer, providing coaching on root cause analysis, countermeasures, and process improvements. They validate all process enhancements and establish revised basic conditions on the production line, aiming to eliminate waste, increase stability, and support the transition to semi-autonomous teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eliminate losses and waste by implementing targeted improvements using AM, PM, FI, and QC pillar tools and methodologies.
  • Establish and communicate technical and process standards to ensure process stability on the production line.
  • Provide training to line crews on technical and process standards, ensuring seamless implementation of new processes.
  • Identify and promote best practices across lines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making, drive business growth, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Lead projects and initiatives aimed at reducing losses, waste, NVAA, and other inefficiencies, driving long-term business value.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to visualize and implement ideal production systems.
  • Proven experience in statistics and process control tools.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and certification is an asset.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
