Electrical Estimator Position

We are seeking an experienced estimator to perform precise estimates for architectural and electrical projects. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and the ability to accurately translate drawings into detailed reports.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using software such as Planswift or Bluebeam
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam (must-have)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Prior costing/estimating experience is a plus
