At WHR Global Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Purchase Order Expediting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supplier-side purchase order (PO) process, ensuring timely releases, expediting, and coordinating deliveries to meet contractual deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with respective accounts to understand and fulfill customer requirements in accordance with contract terms. Additionally, they will handle all correspondence related to shipments, delivery, and material quality and quantity, promptly reporting any concerns to relevant parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Ensure confirmation of receipt, timely release, expediting, and coordination of deliveries to meet contractual deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with respective accounts to fully understand and fulfill all customer requirements in accordance with contract terms.
  • Quality Assurance: Meet agreed-upon quality assurance (QA) requirements to safeguard quality and standard of work.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate complex or unresolved issues, queries, or concerns to immediate superiors for swift resolution.
  • Reporting and Security: Report security incidents and/or identified security weaknesses, as well as share knowledge and skills with new members and junior colleagues for business continuity.

Requirements:

\
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in order expedition or related experience.
  • Experience working in a BPO set-up is an advantage.
