The Tax Accountant will perform a variety of accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing daily accounting operations.
  • Maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements.
  • Performing detailed month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Organizing and analyzing source documents for US Taxpayer clients.
  • Preparing and analyzing US income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
  • Preparing and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stable internet connection for work-from-home arrangement.
  • Able to work on a US shift from Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM MNL time.
