Responsibilities

  1. Manage data integrity and prepare financial information
  2. Compliance and quality control review, including preparation and review of account analysis/reconciliations, journal entry review and approval, and adherence to accounting policies and procedures
  3. Work with local Finance contacts during GL close to ensure adequate completeness, accuracy, timeliness, accessibility, and consistency with corporate policies and IFRS
  4. Execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protected, including review of reconciliation of General Ledger accounts
  5. Ownership of team's performance metrics, including setting, evaluating, and reporting
  6. Coordinate and execute periodic close of general ledger, maintaining close schedule, monitoring system closing jobs, resolving identified issues, and communicating with customers
  7. Directly supervise staff; provide performance feedback and coaching to team members

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BS Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent experience (+2 years in General Ledger)
  • 5-7 years of work-related experience
  • SAP expert in General Ledger (FICO); knowledgeable in other SAP accounting modules (AR, AP, MM)
  • Complex accounting resolution skills
