Job Overview:

This is a mid-level Python developer role within our Customer Operations division. The position involves working with market-leading SaaS technology serving the global network construction industry.

This engineer will be situated at the intersection of software development and operations, where they will utilize their problem-solving skills to create solutions that drive operational efficiency.

The focus of this role will be on developing custom scripts and applications to process geospatial data, automate transformation tasks, and manage data pipelines into our databases.

  • You will design, develop, and maintain internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows.
  • You will develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • You will automate data transformation and processing pipelines to improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • You will collaborate with operations and product teams to identify opportunities for tool development and automation.
  • You will troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in both production and development environments.
  • You will ensure code quality through version control, testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
