This role is for a highly skilled Field Operations Manager who will oversee WHSE compliance, customer management, site quality and process compliance, energy management, uptime and SLA, team management, and lessor management.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
    • Ensure site hygiene and compliance to organizational requirements
    • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by self and technicians
    • Support regular training on HSE and ensure safe practices are followed at Tower Site
    • Issue and usage of Permit to Work (PTW) for every activity done at a site
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Provide support for outage escalation by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
    • Site access support as and when applicable for tenants
    • Maintain healthy customer relationships
    • Supervise site upgrades as per specification and provide support for Rollout and First Fix (RFF) activities
  • Site Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain excellent level of site quality (proper cable laying, correct temperature, correct settings, site in Auto, etc.)
    • Identify gaps against equipment specifications and ensure timely corrections
    • Periodic audits to ensure civil/tower electrical and other infrastructure are in best state
    • Ensure compliance of operational processes
    • Compliance checking of quality of technicians, partners, spares including any ethical issues
  • Energy Efficiency:
    • Identify high Diesel consumption sites and recommend remedy actions
    • Minimize Transmission Loss (TL) faults
    • Facilitate conversion of non-Electrified sites for permanent power
    • Monitor genset running hours and fuel compliance
  • Uptime Optimization:
    • Drive Uptime for all customers. Maintain infrastructure uptime as per Master Service Agreement (MSA)/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of outages and prepare corrective action plan to avoid repetitions
    • 100% Site Automation and Alarm integration with Network Operations Center (NOC). Alarm & Metering correction at Site
    • 100% compliance on Preventive Maintenance (PM)
    • Site visit and closure of punch points
  • Team Leadership:
    • Technician performance evaluations
    • Identify training needs of technicians and plan for development
    • Site allocation, discipline management for technicians
  • Lessor Engagement:
    • Compliance of sites access process
    • Maintain high level of landlord engagement to ensure 24/7 access and facilitate upgrade/planned event/installation and other operational work at site
    • Resolution of hygiene related trouble tickets to ensure landlord satisfaction
