About the Job:
We are looking for a Financial Control Specialist to provide independent assurance and consulting services to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
The role involves performing risk assessments, preparing audit plans, reviewing company policies, and gathering evidence to support audit observations and conclusions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify areas for improvement in risk management and control processes.
- Conduct reviews of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on audit findings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of audit activities and findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, BS Math, or Statistics.
- CPA certification preferred.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in auditing or financial control.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skill Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and auditing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
