We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Development Specialist (Data Infrastructure and Cybersecurity) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for data infrastructure and cybersecurity, including legal, technical, social, and administrative safeguards.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Provide inputs in the preparation of a pipeline of data infrastructure and cybersecurity for development projects through outreach to DMCs, in coordination with country teams.
  2. Undertake necessary country diagnostic studies and analysis related to data infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  3. Support the internal project approval process, closely coordinating with relevant teams.
  4. Support operational departments for processing and implementation of digital development projects.
  5. Undertake the implementation of data infrastructure and cybersecurity programs and projects.
  6. Support DMC governments in designing and implementing data infrastructure and cybersecurity programs.

Requirements:

  • A University degree relevant to digital/information technologies, preferably at post-graduate level or its equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in the digital development sector.
  • Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required.
  • Knowledge of digital technologies covering data infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in digital transformation and related business process re-engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • International experience working in development in developing countries, preferably in Asia.
