Technical Design Lead – Digital Platform

Are you a technical expert seeking a challenging role in digital platform design and configuration? This position involves overseeing the setup, improvement, and standardization of Microsoft 365 services across our organization.

The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, with a focus on Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and related security and compliance features. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure secure and reliable service delivery, as well as support adoption across global offices.

  • Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 platforms, focusing on performance, integration, and user experience.
  • Lead the configuration, deployment, and optimization of services across multiple M365 components.
  • Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to guarantee secure, compliant, and resilient service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and documentation to support platform standardization and governance.
  • Partner with Application Support and TBM teams to drive adoption, training, and effective use of productivity tools.
  • Support service integration across M365, Box, and other platforms within the digital workplace ecosystem.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues and service interruptions.
  • Work collaboratively within Agile teams, embracing iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and adaptive planning.
  • Provide mentoring to junior engineers and regional IT staff to ensure consistent capabilities across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 platform administration and configuration.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience.
  • A solid understanding of M365 licensing models, tenant architecture, and service dependencies.
  • Familiarity with hybrid identity management and device integration.
  • Security awareness with expertise in access controls.
  • Agile foundation knowledge and ability to lead within Agile delivery frameworks.
