Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Confirmation: Confirm purchase orders with suppliers within the required turn-around time.
  • Purchase Order Review: Review open purchase orders to avoid shortages and ensure accurate data in the ERP system.
  • Past Due Purchase Order Clean-up: Clean up past due purchase orders and provide corrective and preventive actions.
  • Material Issue Coordination: Coordinate material issues with buyers and seek guidance from senior team members when needed.
  • Supplier Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with non-critical suppliers to monitor performance and track action plans.
  • Delivery Schedule Management: Ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery schedules.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain healthy, open relationships with suppliers.
  • Weekly Progress Reports: Generate weekly reports on the progress of issued purchase orders.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in any 4-year course preferably Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Business-related discipline.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in expediting, supply chain, supplier management, or procurement.
  • MS Excel Knowledge: Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
  • MS PowerPoint Knowledge: Intermediate MS PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented: Detail-oriented individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision.
