ISS STOXX is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join its team as a Data Intelligence Specialist.

Data Intelligence Specialist

This role involves analyzing data to support strategic product enhancements and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, create compelling visualizations, and inform decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of available data sets and products, as well as the ability to quickly develop this knowledge. They will also be skilled in identifying data trends, patterns, and anomalies, and have high attention to detail and accuracy in data documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of available data sets and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and analyze new data sets.
  • Map and integrate new data sources.
  • Partner with Product and Development teams to report and resolve data issues.
  • Leverage data intelligence tools to identify insights and recommend long-term strategies.
  • Advocate for the use of new product data across Sales and Account Management teams.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation and data guides.
  • Work with Data Operations and Development teams to onboard new data sources.
  • Create and manage tickets as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Management or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in data analytics or database structures.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with creation of dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus.
