As one of our Senior Software Engineers, you'll be accountable for building and deploying innovative features that impact our customers' lives daily. From our trailblazing AI hiring tool to our fully automated payroll solution, every component of our Employment Operating System is designed to disrupt the employment industry for the better.

Our Product and Engineering teams delivered almost 1,000 new features last year. As one of our Senior Engineers, you'll play a vital role in accelerating our product strategy.

This will include:

• Driving your squad to develop critical features for our customers. We primarily develop our applications using Ruby, offering training for those who need it.
• Collaborating closely with designers, product managers and UX specialists to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Writing automated tests for production code.
• Developing and maintaining key components of web applications.
• Conducting testing and code reviews for yourself and your colleagues.
• Mentoring Junior Engineers within your squad.

• A strong background in software development, preferably with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in Server-side and RESTful API Development and integration.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Ruby, Python or TypeScript, with the ability to upskill in Ruby when needed.
• Proven experience implementing, maintaining and deploying full-stack web technologies.
• A strong understanding of best practice software engineering processes, testing and Agile methodology.
• A team player attitude with excellent communication skills.
• A passion for learning, sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.
• Openness to expand expertise into Frontend technologies and grow into a FullStack Engineer role.
