**Financial Business Analyst Role Overview**We are seeking a highly skilled financial business analyst with at least 5 years of experience in evaluating and analyzing financial performance and business operations. This role is critical in driving financial insights while also identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement across our business and operational processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments to drive informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate and analyze business and financial operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency and growth, enhancing the overall performance of our organization.
  • Develop, monitor, and interpret financial and operational performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that drive financial and operational scalability, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic decision-making by assessing the financial impact of business initiatives across Product, Sales, and Operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Research industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in SaaS and health-tech to inform financial and business recommendations, staying ahead of the curve.
  • Prepare clear, concise financial reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards, policies, and internal controls, maintaining the highest level of integrity and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a hybrid role combining both.
  • Proven ability to perform financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting at a high level, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis.
  • Experience analyzing and improving business processes, with a strong understanding of operational inefficiencies, and a passion for process improvement.
  • Background in SaaS or health-tech industries preferred, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker), leveraging technology to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with experience in accounting/finance platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and SQL-based analysis, staying up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and buy-in.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure.
