Avia Solutions Group invites applications for a seasoned Design Engineer to lead their Cabin Interiors team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting interior payload system requirements to establish the system design of large aircraft modifications.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with customers, outside vendors, MROs, regulatory agencies, and other teams within the company to create engineering solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. This includes:

  • Designing and developing cabin systems, such as layouts, galleys, and environmental systems, using AutoCAD.
  • Creating substantiation documents to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field with a minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design engineering.
  • Experience working within an EASA Part 21J Design Organization (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of aircraft interior reconfiguration programs, and primary and secondary aircraft structures is preferred.
