Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Civil Engineer to join our team at the Social Housing Finance Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical evaluation of properties, conducting site inspections, and preparing appraisal reports. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical feasibility of our housing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical evaluations of properties to ensure compliance with our systems, procedures, and program terms and policies.
  • Perform site inspections, verify property titles, and appraise properties for acquisition through our Comprehensive Mortgage Program.
  • Gather and analyze data necessary for the preparation of appraisal reports.
  • Prepare site inspection, title verification, appraisal, project accomplishments, and compliance reports.
  • Validate accomplishments and compliance reports/documents submitted by stakeholders and assess conditions thereof for loan release.
  • Undertake thorough evaluations of site development and house construction cost estimates submitted by our partners.
  • Check property boundaries, configuration, and technical descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify issues and bottlenecks in the appraisal process.
  • Prepare materials for presentation to our Board of Directors for loan approval.
  • Canvass prices of construction materials.
  • Monitor project accomplishments for site development and house construction.
