About the Job:

The Art Director will gain an understanding of and begin developing relationships with different agency departments including account, copy, digital, and strategy.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Work closely with the Art team to create unique and well-designed pieces that stay true to the brand DNA, personality and strategy.
  • Learn the basics regarding legal, medical and regulatory pharma guidelines.
  • Develop an understanding of your assigned brand's specific rules and processes.
  • Collaborate with additional members of the creative department including Studio Artists, Graphic Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, Integrated Producers, Illustrators, and Copywriters to ensure projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards of design excellence.
About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least one year of experience in an Associate Art Director role, preferably within an agency.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
  • A compelling portfolio included with your application (can be website, file sharing link or PDF attachment).
  • Understand the basics of brand guidelines.
  • Possess a basic understanding of the art development process from job initiation to completion.
  • Ability to express yourself clearly through written and verbal communication.
  • Must know when to ask for assistance and also when to seek out additional work if/when you have capacity.
