Job Overview

The role of Time and Absence Consultant involves fostering a culture of partnership and engagement, which is crucial for business success. As an expert in deploying Workday solutions, you will ensure successful implementation by architecting, configuring, and testing the system to meet the specific needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, with deep knowledge and experience in Absence & Time Tracking.
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work closely with the data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Collaborate with the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, also coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, and collaborate effectively and synergistically on team-based projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification.
  • 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company.
  • Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking.
